LAJEMBO collects and uses information needed to provide, verify and secure the rental service, including information supplied during account registration, identity verification, property journeys, transactions and customer support.
Identity and staged disclosure
Renter and provider identity information is handled through authenticated journeys. Protected identity details are disclosed only when the rental process reaches the appropriate stage.
Property-location privacy
Public property discovery does not require exposing an exact property address. Exact location access is controlled until the appropriate viewing or transaction stage.
Account access
Mobile-number and account verification controls help protect access to customer journeys and sensitive account functions.
SMS verification and opt-in data
LAJEMBO uses a customer’s mobile number and SMS opt-in choice to send requested one-time passcodes for authentication, identity verification and account access. LAJEMBO does not use this SMS verification campaign for marketing or promotional messages.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Message frequency varies based on user-initiated verification requests. Message and data rates may apply.
Authorized staff access
Customer, property and transaction information is intended to be available only to authorized roles with a legitimate operational need.
Documents and transaction records
Rental documents, approvals, receipts and transaction history remain associated with the relevant protected journey and are not treated as public information.
Accountability
Important operational actions are designed to create auditable records so access, verification and transaction activity can be reviewed when required.
Customer requests
Authenticated customers can use LAJEMBO’s protected privacy and data-request functions for supported requests concerning their information.
Service providers
Where an external service provider is required to deliver a platform function, customer information is limited to what is necessary for that function and handled under the applicable service arrangements.
Retention and deletion
LAJEMBO retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, satisfy legitimate operational requirements and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Privacy or security concerns
Customers can report privacy, account-access or security concerns through LAJEMBO’s official support channels.
